Marisa Marisa is a very versatile musician who started her piano studies at the age of 5 with lessons from her father, a professional musician and teacher. She continued her music studies at Temple University where she formed her own band, Iota. Playing guitar, composing the music and lyrics for all the songs and performing as lead singer, Marisa toured the country as Iota. She recorded two CDs, "Take Me Like a Man" and "Don't Pick at It" and was a popular singer-songwriter in the Philadelphia area for many years. Leaving the band scene behind, Marisa has been teaching the Phred Piano Expression "Fun 'N' Easy" Piano Course in Bergen County as well as in the Philadelphia area and loves "opening the hearts of children as well as adults to music."
